Drumanilra Organic Farm is a 300 acre organic family farm run by Liam & Justina Gavin. Our land is divided between the home farm on the shores of Lough Key in Co. Roscommon, and pasture land at Grange just outside Roscommon town.

We keep a large pedigree herd of organic, Irish Dexter cattle, a native Irish cattle breed, renowned for flavoursome and well-marbled beef.

We raise organic sheep slowly on grass and finish organic lambs bought in from a neighbouring farm.

We source small batches of free-range pigs from Thomas Salter in Co Carlow.  Our rashers and hams are hand-cured, using a traditional organic dry cure salt mix, and our 95% pork sausages are handmade.

Throughout the year, we keep a flock of laying hens for organic eggs which we use in our restaurants and sell in our farm shops.

On our home farm we cultivate 1000 sqm of polytunnels and an outdoor market garden producing a wonderful range of organic salads and vegetables for our restaurants and farm shops.

It is extremely satisfying, with todays todays complex food and distribution chains, that all of the farm produce goes to our own local Honestly Farm Kitchens in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim, and Strandhill, Co. Sligo.  Our restaurant menu dishes all feature ingredients grown or produced on our farm. You can pick up our farm produce from the small farm shop in each of our restaurants, along with produce from other local and organic producers.
