Take off your raincoat and imagine it’s BBQ season – if only for a day!
When we do get our Irish summer (the start of the Leaving Cert is usually a safe bet!) it will be time to finally get out there and enjoy BBQs with friends and family. But where to start? We have put together this quick shopping list so that you can have everything covered. Pop into Honestly Farm Shop to browse our range and get summer off to a good start! Our Farm Shop is open 7 days a week 9:30am to 8pm. Don’t forget to ask for a loyalty card and get 3 points for every €1 spent to use on a future purchase in our farm shop, restaurant, drive thru or in our new Honestly Farm Kitchen in Strandhill (Coming Soon!)
Ethical Meats
- Organic, pedigree, Dexter beef burgers

High welfare, sustainable meats, from our own Drumanilra Organic Farm, just a short drive away on the shores of Lough Key!
The Veggies – Organic of Course!
- Halloumi – we love these Halloumi & Cherry Tomato skewers!
- Corn on the Cob – perfect on the BBQ – vegans and omnivores alike will love these!
- Courgettes – long 1cm strips brushed with lemon and garlic – yum!
- Cauliflower – cut 2cm “steaks”, add your favourite spices and lashings of olive oil!
The Trimmings
- Brioche Buns (try our own Carraig Rua brioche made with organic flour and local free-range eggs!)
- Chutneys & Sauces (A lovely range of Irish artisan products from Sheridans, Gran Grans, 4 Hands and Wildwood Dressings!)
- Carraig Rua organic sourdough bread – for mopping up!
- Honestly Coleslaw, Pesto & Hummus (ask at the counter)
- Cheese & Charcuterie (Try our range of artisan Irish and European cheeses!)

- Organic Mixed Leaf Salad Bags grown on Drumanilra Farm
