After years of planning, building, redecorating, organising (and reorganising), Honestly Farm Kitchen in Strandhill is open! We have had such a lovely welcome to the area and our patio has never been empty since we opened!
Our Farm Shop is fully stocked with meat, veg and goodies!
To start, we have opened downstairs only, where we have a deli, farm shop and café. Come on in to try our delicious coffee, our fresh cakes and sandwiches or tuck into a pancake stack for breakfast. Or after a day at the beach, enjoy a craft beer or a glass of organic wine.
If you have been one of our organic meat box customers in the past, you’ll be glad to know that our fresh organic beef, lamb and pork is now available in Honestly Strandhill and Carrick on Shannon every week, with fresh deliveries straight from our butcher on Wednesday afternoons. We’re working on organic chicken!

In the coming weeks we will be opening our restaurant upstairs. Here we will offer our signature organic burger range, as well as salads, sides, organic steaks and freshly caught seafood.

Our model
Our business model is pretty unique and we take great pride in it. Honestly Farm Kitchens, owned by Drumanilra Organic Farm, is investing in our mission of making organic food accessible to everyone. We run our own organic farm where we grow fresh salads and vegetables and raise our livestock to supply the restaurants. We have our own bakery where everything from cakes to burger buns is prepared with the finest ingredients. Our Production Kitchen ensures consistent high-quality produce, and we are opening our own butchery and brewery in the coming months. At the forefront of all of this are our two fabulous restaurants.
Above all we support local, seasonal, organic food production, all prepared and provided by a fantastic team of people. We are proud of how far we have come and opening in Strandhill marks a major milestone in achieving our mission. We hope to see you soon!
